PEPAKEṈ HÁUTW̱'s work is is a continuation of ancestral wisdom based on traditional ecosystem restoration, and developing educational resources.
We hope to share the importance of native plants and encourage people to grow and plant them whenever they can! We would love to inspire folks to start their own healthy food gardens and take an ecological approach to returning native plants to their schools, backyards, neighbourhoods, parks.... and more!
Our hands-on restoration program encourages you to join us in doing healing work in combination with sharing cultural & ecological teachings. We hosts classes from primary school to university level, community organizations, & international groups.
The PEPAKEṈ HÁUTW̱ Native Plants & Garden program offers weekly workshops for the students at the ȽÁU,WELṈEW Tribal School and W̱SÁNEĆ Leadership Secondary. We teach students about growing, planting, and harvesting native plants.
PEPAKEṈ HÁUTW̱ pairs our resources with ancestral teaching to bring our lessons to life. We our currently working on a system to distribute our resources for free to community members. We hope to share this with you soon!
